I'm Mandi, the joyful flower girl with sky-high bangs. This is my aunt's wedding circa 1990 something. This little nostalgic gem is not just about the big hair. I used to help my grandma Carolyn put together over the top silk cascade wedding bouquets and ceremony floral. It was the late 80s/early 90s and I think most bouquets were taller than I was!

I got my first job at a flower shop in college and the day-to-day design led to prom designs and eventually weddings. I started Butterfly Petals in 2005. We're a full scale design studio specializing in social event floral design. I'm a sixth-generation Arizona native, and incorporate my love of the desert in our work including the use of succulents and cacti.

We specialize in weddings, elopements, corporate events, private parties and more!

We are located in the East Valley but travel all over the state of Arizona and beyond.

An event stylist once asked if we were magicians. Probably. After all, we can read minds. Right now you're thinking "I love your work!" or "I've heard so many awesome things about you!" or "Do you really have a taxidermied anteater?" (yes, his name is Allonsy) But the most pressing question is probably "Ok, how much is this going to cost?"

There are many factors that go into creating your custom design including the flowers we use, the size of your event, the complexity of the designs, etc. it's difficult to list pricing without getting to know you and your event needs. We will work with you, listen to you, and design something unique for you and your event.

We do our best to accommodate clients with many budgetary and event-size needs. We offer in-studio pick up for smaller orders and love elopements!
